Break Through Self-Doubt and Fear…Tuesday Tips

Happy Tuesday friends...as you go about your week, remember not to let self-doubt and fear creep into your life as you go about trying to accomplish your goals or healing process.

Self-doubt and fear interfere with our ability to achieve or set goals. Self-doubt and fear are the voices in our head telling us, “You’ll never succeed, so why try?” and “who do you think you are?” Self-doubt and fear are also what make us listen to those voices and decide to give up before we get started. (don’t let this be you)

While many people experience self-doubt and fear at some point in their lives, they take action anyway. Others remain stuck or are confident in only one area of their life, such as work. They are too afraid to try new things like going back to school, entering new relationships or learning new skills.

When we let self-doubt and fear rule our lives, we miss opportunities. We predict and believe that nothing good will happen to us, so we don’t try anything new, and refuse to take even low-level risks. This leads us to discount people or situations that could help us reach our goals. While self-doubt and fear can come in different forms and from different sources, we can learn to break through them.

I struggled with self-doubt for years as a child, a teen, also throughout my adult life. Fear kept me from pursuing so goals and dreams I wanted to accomplish.

This resulted in me never being my true self, so it was hard to step out of my shell, although I’m a very outgoing person I let fear and doubt rob me from my best life. Not anymore…๐Ÿ˜Š

Today I have a successful cleaning and new mentoring business. I have close friends, and a wonderful son and grandson. Learning from my life and others, I'm raising him to believe in himself, understand his feelings, and not be afraid of his fears. You too can learn to let go of your fears in order to live your best life by using these simple tips I provide here below:๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ
If you need help overcoming feelings of self-doubt and fear, please read these ten techniques and processes that have helped me get to this place in my life.

1๏ธโƒฃ Make a list of your fears. Only by admitting that they exist can you seek solutions.

2๏ธโƒฃ Write down how these fears affect your life.

3๏ธโƒฃ Become aware of the voices in your head and write down those negative messages.

4๏ธโƒฃ Start building a support system of friends and eliminate people from your life who foster feelings of negativity.

5๏ธโƒฃ Join a support group of people who have similar issues.

6๏ธโƒฃ Change each negative message to one that is affirming and constructive.

7๏ธโƒฃ Read books that help you feel better about yourself.

8๏ธโƒฃ Be aware of your past, and be willing to let go of it.

9๏ธโƒฃ List your goals and the actions you need to achieve them.

๐Ÿ”Ÿ Take one of those actions every day. Each time you do something that brings you closer to achieving your goals you will feel better about yourself.

When fears and self-doubts come back, and they still do, I break through them by using the tools and skills I’ve learned and now teach. They work.๐Ÿ˜Š

Tip Tuesday…How To Live With Joy๐Ÿ˜Š

Good morning friends, well it's October but if you live in my neck of the woods it's still 90 degrees๐Ÿ˜ฉ....I'm so ready for fall, but until then I'm still going live with Joy...๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‚

Living with joy can sometimes be a challenge.

When things appear to be going against our will, we tend to experience this as pain, suffering, or that weโ€™re having a bad day. Recognizing that we are in control of our feelings, and that we have the choice to live in joy, or in fear is the first step to creating a life full of joy and positivity.

One principle that we all need to acquire is the ability to see all situations, people, and events from a positive perspective. Instead of viewing bad things in life as a prompt to get upset and angry, try to view the โ€œbad thingsโ€ as lessons that are helping you grow, helping you to become as whole of an individual as possible. Too many times, we think that the outer world, the physical reality is creating our day, causing us to be sad or unhappy; however it is the opposite that is true. We create our day, we create the circumstances for joyous living.

The most important lesson is that โ€œbeingnessโ€ precedes experience. In order to be happy, we first need to โ€œbe happyโ€ inside, and this internal happiness radiates outward through every cell of our bodies and creates the outer experience of a smile, or a laugh, or an intimate connection between two people. It is in this โ€œbeingnessโ€ that we have the ability to see and to choose our feelings, desires, goals, and dreams, which then enables us to manifest an outer reality based on our true selves.

We create the reality in which we experience joy, anger, love, and fear. Because we have the ability, the free will, to choose our reality, we can make that conscious choice to try to just be happier, more grateful, and more sensitive. This happiness though will never come if you are looking outside of yourself first. Because, what we just learned is that in order to be happy we have to have the internal feeling of happiness to then create that happiness in our daily lives. Remember that your beliefs about reality create your experience of it.

So, start changing your negatives into positives, gain clarity, and open your heart by looking inside yourself. When we start changing ourselves from inside out, the universe will respond to us in ways in which we could never imagine. The ability to start manifesting your goals and dreams is already inside of you. Take the leap to start living in joy today.

People today are starting to recognize the value of self-talk. At one time people thought of those that talked to self as someone with a mental ailment. This is not true today. Experts are recognizing that self-talk is a healthy tool that we all can use to find answers to our questions and resolve many problems. 

At one time, people thought outer appearance made the person. However, today, people are starting to realize that beauty is skin deep, while inner beauty is to the bone. Today people are running to find ways to develop self. 

Recently, personality development courses opened to help these people find their way. Now, people are not spending countless of dollars on improving their looks, rather they are spending more time and money to find ways of healing the hidden self.๐Ÿ˜Š

The hidden being is decided on the inner conscious. We all have several hidden personalities that we do not recognize. These personalities often come out, usually when feelings are expressed. 

To understand oneโ€™s feelings, one has to use his or her self-talk tools. Most of us can manage our job tasks on a daily schedule, but when it comes to managing our feelings and emotions, often it becomes a struggle. Using self-talk tools can change this behavior. 

As humans, we often struggle to abandon bad behaviors, or habits. The common problem we face today is greed. We see this by examining human behaviors. You probably noticed that on several occasions when a person made a small lump sum of cash, they often want more. Instead of accepting that they have what they need, many people will thrive to make more money, and often find themselves down and out at the end;  Life seems to be nothing more than the almighty dollar, i.e. most peopleโ€™s goal in life. 

People tend to believe that they can attain happiness and love by making more money. The fact is these people often find themselves stressing, because they failed to realize that finding love, joy, and peace is the true road to self-development. Success or failure is not what makes a person. What makes a person is fighting through the hidden messages in the subliminal mind to discover self. 

We all battle emotional responses, such as anger, sadness, joy, et cetera and these emotions ignite from failures, depression, and success and so on. We all feel down at times. There is no way that we can escape the feeling of sadness, joy, anger, et cetera, but there is a way we can all take control of what we express and feel. 

Another problem we face is dependency. Many people in the world today depend on others to pick them up when they are down. This leads to major problems, simply because not one person has the power to heal you, but you. 



To work through all of these problems, we must depend on self, and develop a winning attitude to build confidence. By changing our approach, we can see that the world is our own based on how we accept it. If a body is unhappy, then the world will seem like a miserable place to live. One of the common sayings today is, โ€œLife is a B, and then you die.โ€ This entire negative is causing them to miss the benefits of living. 

In each of our lives, some of us are fortunate while others are unfortunate. We must realize that everything we endure takes place to help us learn. For instance, a severely traumatized person may have lived a life of overwhelming violence. There is a point to be made here. Of course, this person is the victim and has no responsibility of what has occurred in his or her life, yet the point is made clear at the end of this personโ€™s journey. 

We can all live and learn from each other. Despite what type of life you have lived you can develop a positive attitude and win the game of life. By holding onto negative thoughts, you only defeat the purpose of living. Life is too short, so develop a winning attitude and healing the hidden self will fall into place.

๐Ÿ”นStep 1: Take inventory. Creating a vision for yourself and your life first requires you to ask yourself โ€œwhat it is that gives my life meaning, purpose, and joy?โ€

Look to your talents. Look to your abilities. What makes you smile the instant you think of doing it? It is not difficult to determine what your special ability, gift or interest is. Simply ask yourself: โ€œWhat do I look forward to more than anything else in the world?โ€

๐Ÿ”นStep 2: Tap into your imagination. Now that you have decided to take action by creating a list of your talents, interests, and joy activities, it is time to form a vision around them.

You do this by doing what every child on earth has the power to do at will: Simply use your imagination to create your reality! Start dreaming of all of the ways in which you can spend your time doing what you love. Do not worry about making sense at this stage, just dream as if you were a child again.

๐Ÿ”นStep 3: Set your goals. Once you have decided what you want to do to create a better life for yourself by developing a vision, the next step is to set goals that will serve as stepping stones toward fulfillment of your vision.

You can start setting these goals by asking yourself questions like: What do I want to accomplish in my life? What kind of legacy do I want to leave behind? What would I do if I had all of the money in the world? Make sure your short term goals are realistic and the rest โ€“ big! Be clear, meaningful, well defined, and make sure your goals EXCITE you!

๐Ÿ”นStep 4: Enjoy the journey and pay attention. As you begin a new day today, always keep in mind everything that you have written down and envisioned for your better future. Although you probably do not have the means to immediately jump into your goals and plans above, you can still start working towards a new reality by thinking of the outcomes while you are doing your best today.

Tuesday Affirmations!!

Throw your hands in the air if you made it past Monday….Yes! Monday is gone, now on to the rest of the week. I know staying positive and motivated is tough, but we have to hang in there. We may have to leave the negative attitudes in the closet, and lock that door. It’s only the beginning of the year, we can’t give up just yet. Remember when you feel yourself spiraling down that gloomy path, step outside catch fresh air, or head to the radio and turn it up. To help you stay on track, repeat some of the affirmations I have written here, or make up your own. Repeat them in the car on lunch break, or while at your desk. This too shall pass, it was called Monday and we made it through. So here’s to a great rest of the week….
