It opens you up to experiencing love without fear. Self-love makes you stronger, and when two self-loving individuals get together, they have the ability to experience the full potential of love.

Do a miracle in and through me, Lord! Heal my soul and make me whole. Make me a Kingdom woman. Help me to live a life totally disproportionate to who I am. How to Combat Being Alone in 4 Quick Steps👇🏾

❣️I know it’s easier said than done, but being alone is ok? Stop jumping into relationships because you can’t stand the loneliness!

Here are 4 Tips to help combat the lonely days.

Use these steps to help you stop feeling the need for companionship. 👇🏾

💞Get Comfortable Being Alone

Enjoy your own company. Take time out to get to know yourself better. Write a journal and chart your thoughts and feelings when you are feeling lonely. Take yourself out on dates, be it for a dinner at a nice restaurant or a movie that you’ve been waiting to see. Once you are comfortable with your own company, other people are more likely to enjoy spending time with you as well.

💞Get Animal Companionship 🐶(my fav)

There’s nothing quite like having a dog waiting for you by the door when you get home, or a cat purring on your pillow. Animals make marvellous companions – they love unconditionally and are unfailingly loyal. Walking your dog can be a great way to meet new people as well. Smaller animals such as hamsters or geckos can also make you feel needed if you do not want to commit to getting a dog or cat.

💞Get Out of the House

Get out of the house when you can instead of allowing yourself to wallow in loneliness.Go outside, get some fresh air, go to the mall, the park or even just the grocery store. Make an effort to speak to at least someone, even if it’s only a sales assistant.

💞Get Involved in a Local Cause

Are you concerned about the environment? Passionate about inner-city education? Volunteer your time and skills at the local library, civic organization, or charitable foundation. Helping others will make you feel good about yourself, occupy your mind, and stop you from thinking about how alone you are. Having a shared interest is also a great way to develop new friendships.

Now…all of these tips I have actually used before I met my hubby! I learned so much about myself during this time!

Strengthen my will to forgive myself in this moment. Clean my mind of emotional poison and self-judgment so I can live in complete peace and love. In Jesus Amen!
