Positive body image is important to establish, especially early on in life, so the psychological stressors of negative body image cannot take their toll.

We either think weโ€™re too fat, too skinny, or weโ€™re just confused all together.

I myself have felt for a long time that I didnโ€™t like my body only because I compared my body to women I saw on social media….yeah right crazy ๐Ÿ˜

Here I was about 3 years ago so upset about my weight but wasnโ€™t doing anything about it. Yes, you think only teenage girls fall victim to feeling this way, but in reality itโ€™s just as common in older women as well.

Being negative about your body can cause you to have low esteem. We have to learn how to be positive about our bodies.

Being positive about the way you look is great, but just not enough; learning to be positive about your appearance, health and well-being is what should define body positivity.

Take care of your body from the inside then out, having a different body wonโ€™t change your mindset. Having a better body wonโ€™t change whatโ€™s aching in your heart.

So have you looked in the mirror lately?

What do you see? How do you feel about your body?

Donโ€™t let your mental health fool you into thinking that you have to look like what society says you do.

Remember God created you the way you are, so take care of your body by watching what you put into it!

It is critical to love yourself at every stage in life and establish this before any type of transformation occurs.

Everything that comes into your head doesnโ€™t need to be thought about! Let it go and focus on positivity, yes itโ€™s hard but try your best. This also soothes the stress in the moment and keeps you from getting all worked up over some stupid thought!

Everything isn’t about you all the time, let others express their thoughts without you going into some rage like your being picked on. This causes your heart to race and you are probably overthinking the situation period…calm down sis!!!๐Ÿ–๐Ÿพ

Ok chick, this is where self-talk comes in! Blowing off the handle at every little thing doesnโ€™t help you or the situation. 4. Park your vehicle farther away from the destination. Walking more means burning more!

5. Spend time in Garden and Yard Work.

(I promise this is relaxing and soothes the mind as well)

6. Take the stairs instead of elevators.

7. Your brain also needs exercise. Play some brain games

8. Start journaling.

9. Join classes like dance, tennis, yoga, aerobics, scuba diving or anything you love.

10. Take a break to yourself whenever you stressed out.

A lot of these I have personally done, except for number 9๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ…think I might have to try some yoga ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

Many of us are having difficulties falling asleep at night. Instead of sleeping and dreaming they roll around in their beds trying to fall asleep. The result usually is people not rested enough in the morning and tired all day. This results in stress and less performance on the job or at home. Here are a list of 6 powerful tips that have helped me to achieve better sleep.

๐Ÿ›ŒRoom temperature: Keeping the temperature in your bedroom at 70 degrees Fahrenheit or below is recommended. Too often an overheated bedroom is causing sleep problems. Scientific studies show that the body can better relax with temperatures at 70 degrees or slightly below.

๐Ÿ›ŒReduce caffeine. A recent study showed that caffeine is not metabolized efficiently and fast enough at night. The effects of caffeine last much longer than most people expect. The result is difficulty falling asleep. Studies have shown better sleeping patterns if no more caffeine is consumed after 6.00 PM.

๐Ÿ›ŒAvoid alcohol. Alcohol will keeps the body from reaching the deeper stages of sleep, where the body does most of its healing and resting. The result of drinking can be a very light sleep or difficulty falling asleep in general. (Learned this the hard way)๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

๐Ÿ›ŒBeds are for sleeping. If you are used to watch TV in bed or even work while being in bed, you may find it much harder to relax and to fall asleep. Remove the TV and do not work in bed. Sleep requires your brain to slowly shutdown and any distraction will cause sleeping problems.

๐Ÿ›ŒGo to bed at around the same time every day. Don’t change your bedtime back and forth. Having a certain schedule developed it will be easier to fall asleep pretty much at the same time every day. A recurring schedule will help your body to get into a sleep pattern and make it easier to fall asleep.

๐Ÿ›ŒRemove the alarm clock from your view. Starring at the time will only create the feeling that you have to sleep, but you are not. These worries will make things even worse. Losing the feeling for time by not seeing the actual and how long you have been awake has shown to improve healthy sleep.

Not that I care , it just seems unusual that we frequently see movie and TV stars as unflawed individuals, living the fairy tale life of riches and glamour. I guess we all have to quit sticking our heads in the sand and confront reality.

There are a lot of ways to lose your sense of confidence despite of how trivial it might be. But whatever occurs, we ought to all try not to lose our own sense of self.

So what does it take to be a cut above the rest? Here are a few of the things you are able to improve on:

๐Ÿ”นKnow your passion.Are you drifting through life with little direction – hoping that you’ll come across happiness, health and prosperity? Identify your life passion or mission statement and you’ll have your own unequalled compass that will lead you to your truth every time.This might appear tricky initially when you feel you’re at a dead end. But there’s always a way to turn things around and you are able to make a big difference in your life.๐Ÿ”นUnderstand your values.What do you value most? Arrive at a list of your top five values. A few examples are security, freedom, loved ones, spiritual development, and learning.As you set your goals for this year – check your goals against your values. Express yourself and honor the individuals who have inspired you to become the very individual you wanted to be.

๐Ÿ”นLive from the inside out.

Better your awareness of your inner wisdom by regularly reflecting in silence. Commune with nature. Breathe deeply to calm your distracted mind. For most of us it’s difficult to even find the peace and quiet we want even in our own household.

In my case I frequently just sit in a dimly lit room and play some classical music. There’s sound, yes, but music does soothe.

๐Ÿ”นObserve your strengths.

What are your favorable traits? What special talents do you have? List 3 – if you bog down, ask those closest to you to help describe these. Are you inventive, witty, and good with your hands? Discover ways to express your genuine self through your strengths. You are able to better your self- confidence when you are able to share what you know to other people.

๐Ÿ”นServe other people.

When you live genuinely, you might find that you develop an interrelated sense of being. When you’re true to whom you are, living your passion and giving of your talents to the world around you, you repay in service what you came to share with other people -your spirit – your essence. Sharing your gift with those close to you is so rewarding.

Confidence is indeed one type of work that’s worth it. It shouldn’t always be inside the confines of an office building, or in your room. The difference lies inside ourselves and how much we wish to change for the better.

โœ”๏ธEmpower Yourself. There is no greater feeling of power than that which is endowed by knowledge. Identify the areas you would like to empower yourself and take a go at it. Is it Art? History? Politics? Economics? Science? Technology? What stops you from picking up books, surfing the Internet or even just asking questions?

โœ”๏ธEnergize Yourself. When you breathe in, imagine you are breathing in all the goodness of the world, allowing your system to be nourished and refreshed by it. Having thus cleansed your system, when you breathe out, your emotional toxins are dispelled. Enjoy the new sense of power you feel!

Breathe in and say, โ€œIโ€™m powerful,โ€ breathe out and say, โ€œIโ€™m beautiful.โ€ Repeat this a number of times and you will feel a new rush of blood through your body.

โœ”๏ธFeel Good About Yourself. Learn to love yourself and the life you lead. Yes, it could be better and you can make it so. But if you donโ€™t like how things are going, that is no reason to waste what you already have in hand in the hope of what you can make of it. Remember, a bird in hand is worth two in the bush! There will always be those extra kilos to shed, those qualities you wish your partner had, that car you wish to buy, or the house you wish to own

โœ”๏ธGet Fit. Being fit and healthy is the greatest energy and confidence booster you can give yourself. Instead of blaming yourself for not eating right and for binging on the wrong things, cultivate some positive addictions. Try going for a daily dose of exercise: be it a walk, a workout at the gym or just floor exercises at home.

โœ”๏ธEat Judiciously. Rather than feeling dejected at the weight you keep putting on because of a junk food eating habit, develop the habit of eating healthy foods to keep yourself fit and slim. It is said that you can actually eat to remain slim by eating right. Experts opine that the process of chewing and digesting foods such as celery, mushrooms, broccoli and tomatoes, when not fried, actually makes you expend more calories than you take by eating them.

โœ”๏ธRemain Calm. This is indeed a rare quality and if you were to successfully cultivate it more than half of your lifeโ€™s worries would be over. Stress and tension are the cause of more diseases than we know of. Fatigue and irritability are also caused by stress.
