5 Steps for Building Self-Confidence in the New Year ๐ŸŽŠ #mondaymotivation

Happy New Week; here’s a little Monday motivation to get your week started…
Self-confidence is an all-important trait you need to acquire in today’s fast-paced world. For one thing, you must have confidence in yourself first to earn the confidence and respect of others. The following strategies may be useful to overcome such self-conquering thought habits. Consider these steps as the building blocks for greater confidence in any aspect of your life. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ

1๏ธโƒฃ Concentrate on your strengths rather than on your weaknesses.

Confidence comes from within. You have to concentrate on the positive things about yourself. Remember the past is over; you can only change the future. Write down ten positive things about yourself. Concentrate on your potentials. These are the reasons you should love yourself and have high self-confidence in yourself. Give yourself credit for every positive thing you have written about yourself. Remember, you’re somebody special. ๐Ÿ’–

2๏ธโƒฃ Remind yourself of past successes.

Confidence builds on past success. Because you had success before, you can (and will) have it once more. We strengthen our confidence in any interest when we remind or review ourselves of past successes. If you are trying to develop confidence in a new aspect, past success can still be useful in strengthening our confidence. For instance, if you had success in doing something new in the past, recall those experiences when trying something else new even if it is in a completely different part of your life.

3๏ธโƒฃ Take risks.

Try doing things that you’ve never tried before. It’s always a little bit of a challenge in doing new things and just the act of accepting these challenges, some little and some big, whether we are successful or not, frequently improves our self-confidence. Approach new experiences as opportunities to learn instead of occasions to win or lose. Doing so brings you new opportunities and can improve your sense of self-acceptance. Not doing so turns every possibility into an opportunity for failure, and inhibits self-growth.

4๏ธโƒฃ Use self-talk.

Use self-talk as an opportunity to contradict destructive beliefs. Then, remind yourself to stop and replace more realistic assumptions. For example, if you catch yourself expecting perfection, tell yourself that you can’t do everything perfectly, that it’s only possible to try to do things and to try to do them well. This also allows you to accept yourself while still working to improve.

5๏ธโƒฃ Visualize your future success.

Corporate executives, Olympic athletes, and successful people in all types of undertakings see future success. Confidence will increase when we visualize ourselves succeeding. Think about it. If you know you will succeed, your confidence will soar, right? Seeing future success does that very thing for us. Our minds cannot distinguish the difference between something real and something vividly imagined. So vividly visualize your success. What will it look like, smell like, taste like, and feel like to have succeeded? Who will be with you, what will you be hearing and where will you be? How will you be feeling at that instant? Placing this much vivid detail into your mind increases the likelihood of success, and supports greater confidence! Apply these steps in your daily life and your confidence will soar in the New Year ๐ŸŽŠ

Happy December…Are You Ready To Create The Day You Want???

Happy Monday Friends...

Do you tend to let your outer circumstances set the tone for each day?  Do you allow other people and events to trigger feelings of anger, frustration, impatience and more?  

When you do this, you are not using the power you have available to you!  By using the Law of Attraction, you can turn every day into a great day.  One way to do that is by using intentions and visualization to create your day.

When you first wake up in the morning, spend 10 minutes or so thinking about the types of things youโ€™d like to experience that day.  How would you like your workday to go?  What kind of people would you like to meet?  Would you like to receive some great opportunities to advance your career or financial situation?  How would you like to feel for the majority of your day?

Grab a blank journal or notebook and jot these details down!  Once youโ€™ve got all the details written down, spend a few minutes vividly imagining each scenario in your mind, exactly as you would like it to happen.  Pretend youโ€™re watching a movie in your mind, seeing it all play out exactly as youโ€™d like it to.

Most importantly, allow yourself to feel as if they were actually happening now.  Immerse yourself in feelings of excitement, joy, happiness, and gratitude as you enjoy one great experience after another.  Use this same process for every experience youโ€™d like to have that day.

By the time youโ€™re finished you should be feeling fantastic; buzzing with good spirits and high expectations!

Then continue with your normal routine, taking special care not to be โ€œattachedโ€ to any specific events or experiences, just simply staying open to whatever comes.  Keep affirming that great things are going to happen to you that day, and you feel great about all of the blessings and abundance in your life.

At the same time, avoid getting entangled in feelings of worry, anxiety, frustration, and anger as much as possible throughout the day because those feelings will interfere with the positive energy youโ€™ve already put out.
And with the holidays approaching, having a positive outlook will come in handy...trust me!

It’s a new week, time to get up and get some things started. I have a full week ahead, orders to fill and the release of my new ebook. Still in lots of pain this morning, but I got to go make this money. Monday is a fresh start and I intend start the week off positive, hopeful, and joyful. Good Monday To You All!

Happy Monday bloggers, feeling a lot better today than I have all weekend. This chronic pain had me in the bed all weekend long. Just couldn’t get anything done, because my body felt like a truck hit me. I did manage to catch up on some TV time, and I did a little writing for a new project I’m releasing soon. Hope it was a good weekend for you all, the weather here is beautiful not to hot. I’ve been in a pretty good mood today, thanking God I survived that pain this weekend. So what’s going on with you all? Me? Well I have tons of new items that have arrived in my online store, I have been invited to do a live chat on mental health in the black community, and I started a new diet. Whoo I’m exhausted just typing all the things I got going on this week. Out of everything, I think the diet is going to be the death of me, lol! I love food a lot, and I can’t liveย a part from it, LOL!! I just decided to do a little detoxย from all the bad foods I’ve put in my body over the last couple of weeks. Please Pray For Me!!! Therapy session last week was great, she is moving me to a coping skills class, and I have to attend AA meetings. I was a little bummed about that, because I will have to admit that alcohol has become a problem. Don’t think I was there yet, but I know I need to get the help if I plan on healing. Well with that being said, I’m off to run some errands since I’m off today. I won’t let Monday get me down, I’m planning on sparkling all over the day! Have a great Monday…chat soon!ย 

New Week Motivation!

Happy Monday, it’s a stormy day here and of course my nerves are super bad. My anxiety level goes up to 100 when storms are around. Today was a pretty good day and my weekend was really busy, ever since I launched my new online store selling my homemade bath salts, lip balms, and scrubs! I can’t say it enough about how proud I am of myself, it’s been a long time since I said that. My therapy sessions are going good, I’m planning out my goals, my mind is clear and in a better place. For so long it look like my life was on a downhill spiral. So glad I got the help I needed when I did, I am a true believer that therapy and medications work. With that being said, I am I’m learning how to set my goals and plan out what I want to do. If things don’t work out, I just keep calm and move on to the next thing. So now I’m overwhelmed, my kitchen and dining room looks like a mess. I have so many orders to get out, I may soon have to hire me a little partner. Omg, that sounds so good! Setting goals and sticking to them are hard when you are under the cloud of depression, I remember having all these ideas in my head, but couldn’t get them out. I dreamed and prayed for this day to come, now I’m so nervous it’s to good to be true. Oh well not going to look backwards, just going to enjoy the ride while I can. I love being so busy, if only my body would let me stand longer. I’m still dealing with these chronic pains, my body always feels like a truck hit me. I’m not going to complain, one thing at a time. Learning to set goals has also helped with my depression, instead of feeling down because I can’t see how things are going to work. I now just focus on plans to make the goals work. I’m focusing on being motivated, and writing these goals down can give you some direction in which way you should go. I found doing so much research on those essentials oils and uses, kept me really busy! I enjoyed learning about the different effects they have on your body. Setting goals gives you a clear plan, and shows you what areas you need to put work into. All goals don’t need to be big , just enough to distract you for the moment. Something you love or dream about doing, I came up with this homemade product business overnight and did all the research. Hell there was a time I couldn’t focus on shit, lol for real. Just look at those unhappy areas in your life and try changing that. I love taking baths, and decided that everyone should feel the same excitement I do when taking them. So my little plan is working out. Well hope this little info helps someone out today, I’m extremely happy to be typing good things. So here’s to a great week, full of plans, finishing or starting on goals. Chat soon loves…..
