Think about it … every single thing we do is intended to make us happier.

And yet sometimes we get diverted and do things that actually move us away from this goal.

Here are 3️⃣ easy tips to help you get happy quick:

1️⃣ Look For The Positive In Everything: There is an old saying that nothing is inherently good or bad—what makes it one or the other, is merely your reaction to it. Find the positive and you will be happier. Those who soar against all odds, do so because they look at the positive that could come out of their situation, how ever bad it may seem to others.

2️⃣ Accentuate The Positive: We all grow up with a “positivity imbalance”—the result of society’s norms and rules being based on restriction and punishment more than approval and reward. From a young age we are taught what we must not do instead of what we may do. Even in day-to-day life, there is more negative influence that positive. Luckily you can work to improve the balance. Celebrate the positive and work to get more of it. When you achieve something, congratulate yourself! Look for things you find uplifting, that make you happy. Get more of that! At the same time, reduce your exposure to negative input, whether it is the daily news, or people you don’t feel good around. You know your buttons…make sure the positive ones are pushed more than the negative.

3️⃣ Practice Good Selfishness: When we were young we were taught that putting our interests before those of others is wrong. This is particularly true for women, many of whom sacrifice their dreams and ambitions to help others achieve theirs. It is also common in the corporate world where the good of the company is considered more important than the good of the individual. It is good to help others, yet we should have boundaries to protect ourselves from being manipulated or abused by others. You are important, and if you don’t look after yourself physically, emotionally and spiritually, you cannot expect anyone else to do so.

There is a well known and very much overlooked ‘secret’ that Master Manifestors use continuously. It is a very basic, simple component that sets in motion all that exists in the human world. We all know it is real and absolutely necessary. Yet the vast majority of people do their level best to avoid it.

Without this ‘secret’, all dreams, hopes, wishes and well intentioned goals will remain in a keepsake box stuffed under the bed. The box will be pulled out on rainy afternoons, and its carefully saved articles dusted off and cherished once more. Some time will be spent in pondering potential possibilities, and hopefulness will expire. Great wistfulness will settle over its guardian, and with a tired resolve, the goals, ambitions and really serious potential will be carefully put to rest once more.

The real definition of potential, to put it politely, is ‘worth nothing as it sits right now’. Goals, dreams, wishes, hopes and desire have only potential without the obvious secret that can only lead to manifestation. Not worth a darn right now. There is little so common in the world as latent potential. But add the magic ingredient, and your desires will become manifest before your eyes. Pour a viscous, electric blue liquid into your keepsake box, and it will empty itself into your real world.

This secret, magic ingredient is commonly known as ‘action’. Git’r done, get it on, go, just do it, start, ACTION. This is a billion dollar concept that gifted speakers devote entire seminars to. 😁

All desires must begin their journey into manifestation somewhere. All things already exist, but you must accept them, or go get them. You must actively allow results to happen. Take action, and get what it is you want.

Consider a sated, comfortable diner sitting after dinner at a lavish restaurant buffet. All she wanted to eat waits in shiny serving dishes. She tremendously wishes for a piece of delicious pie, but has none. Magnificent fresh pie is only across the room. Does she really want the pie itself, or is the activity of wanting pie more fun? Which will be more satisfying, wanting the desire, or fulfilling the desire? What will it take to fulfill this dream? In the diner’s case, the monumental undertaking of getting up and taking the pie will satisfy a craving. 🤷‍♀️🏽

Lose the potential, and take the action. Start and the path to success will unfold in front of you as you walk upon it. The pathway will continue as long as you wish to travel, but you must take that first step. Desire all you want, but without actually doing something about it, the reality will never manifest itself in front of you, and remain a wistful keepsake stuffed under the bed in a box.

Take action, start, and your path will reveal itself to you. Action.

Prayer To Keep Going….

Dear holy Father,

When the pressure mounts and the troubles of this world begin to close in, give me the grace to return to you. I don’t want to be a hero. I don’t want the easy way out.

All I want, all I need, is your loving mercy. Never leave me Lord. Keep me under your wing. Even if I don’t feel you there, at least let me understand that you are there.

Give me the strength to take up my cross and fight the good fight. Let your grace allow me to believe in the only one that gives me truth and clarity despite the pain and struggle.

And if it be your will, fill my heart and soul with the overwhelming joy that only your Spirit gives. For in the Messiah, I find my resurrection. In Christ almighty, all things are made new again.

Dear God,
We confess our need for you today. We need your healing and your grace. We need hope restored. We need to be reminded that you work on behalf of those you love, constantly, powerfully, completely. Forgive us for trying to fix our situations all on our own. Forgive us for running all different directions and spinning our wheels to find help, when true help and healing must be found first in You. Forgive us for forgetting how much we need you, above everyone and everything else. We come to you and bring you the places we are hurting. You see where no one else is able to fully see or understand. You know the pain we’ve carried. The burdens. The cares. You know where we need to be set free. We ask for your healing and grace to cover every broken place. Every wound. Every heartache. Thank you that you are Able to do far more than we could ever imagine. Thank you for your Mighty Power that acts on behalf of your children. We reach out to you, and know that you are restoring and redeeming every place of difficulty, every battle, for your greater glory. Thank you that you will never waste our pain and suffering. We love you. We need you today.

Take Charge and Slay Your Goals….

👉🏾Procrastination is a monster that lurks in the lives of every single individual. It is the bane of time management, the number one cause of time wastage, and the ultimate killer of momentum.

Therefore, to be able to effectively control your time and make every second count, it is vital for you to slay that procrastination monster!

Like all other important activities worth doing in life, slaying the procrastination monster is something that requires a huge amount of discipline and willpower, especially at the start.

The master key to doing that, however, is pretty simple. It is to simply start the day doing the activity you dread most. In self-help guru Brian Tracy’s words, “Eat That Frog!”

The rationale behind this method is that once you get over and done with the most dreaded activity, you would be feeling such a sense of accomplishment and invincibility that you know nothing else can stop you. You will also gain a huge amount of momentum that will leave you rolling over the rest of the activities of the day without trouble.

Instead of slaying many procrastination monsters all throughout the day, all you have to do is to slay the king at the starting of the day, and the rest of the procrastination minions will automatically diminish in power, or even disappear altogether, making your day much more pleasant, with a much clearer sense of direction.

However, do note that this activity does need some getting used to, as I believe there are people who have successfully slain the procrastination monster and ended up feeling traumatized about all the time they have lost all their lives.

Do not underestimate the power of this skill due to its simplicity. Its simplicity is where its beauty lies! Once you start getting the feel of how to slay that procrastination monster, you will start shaving hours off unwanted shuffling and deliberating, and finally start getting things done in the fastest and most effective manner!

Take charge of your life and slay those goals….you still have time girl🙌🏾

You have commanded me to be strong and courageous. You have told me not to be afraid; not to be discouraged, for you are always with me wherever I go. Remind me of this when I feel disheartened about my ability to complete the tasks that you’ve set for me and to become the person you want me to be.

✔️Walk Tall. The most significant effort you can make to boost your morale is to let the world see a new, confident You. And the first step towards that is to walk talk and confident, strutting through life as if you know exactly where you’re headed.

✔️Empower Yourself. There is no greater feeling of power than that which is endowed by knowledge. Identify the areas you would like to empower yourself and take a go at it. Is it Art? History? Politics? Economics? Science? Technology? What stops you from picking up books, surfing the Internet or even just asking questions?

✔️Energize Yourself. When you breathe in, imagine you are breathing in all the goodness of the world, allowing your system to be nourished and refreshed by it. Having thus cleansed your system, when you breathe out, your emotional toxins are dispelled. Enjoy the new sense of power you feel!

Breathe in and say, “I’m powerful,” breathe out and say, “I’m beautiful.” Repeat this a number of times and you will feel a new rush of blood through your body.

✔️Feel Good About Yourself. Learn to love yourself and the life you lead. Yes, it could be better and you can make it so. But if you don’t like how things are going, that is no reason to waste what you already have in hand in the hope of what you can make of it. Remember, a bird in hand is worth two in the bush! There will always be those extra kilos to shed, those qualities you wish your partner had, that car you wish to buy, or the house you wish to own

✔️Get Fit. Being fit and healthy is the greatest energy and confidence booster you can give yourself. Instead of blaming yourself for not eating right and for binging on the wrong things, cultivate some positive addictions. Try going for a daily dose of exercise: be it a walk, a workout at the gym or just floor exercises at home.

✔️Eat Judiciously. Rather than feeling dejected at the weight you keep putting on because of a junk food eating habit, develop the habit of eating healthy foods to keep yourself fit and slim. It is said that you can actually eat to remain slim by eating right. Experts opine that the process of chewing and digesting foods such as celery, mushrooms, broccoli and tomatoes, when not fried, actually makes you expend more calories than you take by eating them.

✔️Remain Calm. This is indeed a rare quality and if you were to successfully cultivate it more than half of your life’s worries would be over. Stress and tension are the cause of more diseases than we know of. Fatigue and irritability are also caused by stress.

God, help me love the life I live right now. Show me the good things I often overlook and help me be content with what I have. Forgive me when I compare myself to others, forgive me for longing for things outside of you and your kingdom. Thank you for loving me right where I am, right as I am. Help me keep my eyes on you.
