The first step to improving your confidence is cutting out that internal voice in our mind that keeps telling you that it is not possible, block it out and start asking yourself of what the worst case scenario is, it is usually not that bad as the voice in your head. After experiencing something you feared doing for the first time you realize that it was not as frightening as you thought.

Moral support is a very important part of beefing up your confidence, always confide in someone that can help you feel better about yourself. Opening up about your fears and feelings will not only make you feel better but it will give you another view of how other people see you and hearing someone tell you that you can do something can give you that one extra nudge into doing something.

Sometimes attempting something alone may be over whelming so you may try to find a partner that may motivate you, a good example is jogging, when you feel lazy to go jogging your partner will call you and expect t see you at your jogging spot this will help you in getting started in whatever project you want to indulge in.

Always consider the fact that if it can be done by others you as a person can also do it, it only requires for you to take one single step to begin a journey and it only gets easier as you move along.

It’s all about your mindset, you can do whatever you set your mind to! Changing your mindset will boost your confidence and set you up for success…

Beauty holds a golden mirror to the shimmering inner essence. It reflects true self-perception as well as the extent of one’s discipline.

Attractiveness indicates a sensitivity to those around us. Just as we shine our shoes, wash our cars or trim our lawns to provide “eye-candy” to passers-by, we keep our bodies in the pink of health to offer delightful icons worthy of emulation.

I believe that beauty is not trivial; it is core to civilized society. Imagine everyone abandoning restraint and shuffling around in tattered clothes, drooping bellies, dishevelled hair, blackened fingernails and breath so foul only a mother could love? No one would be happy- except the mouthwash manufacturers. Those who shun beauty as superficial are probably too lazy to reach for a bar of soap or the jump rope.

But, beautiful people are not necessarily supermodels with Greek-god faces and unreal proportions. That is a myth promulgated by sneaky salesmen of snakeoil creams and dangerous bust implants. Let them slather that muck on their faces 24/7. Then, I’d believe them. 😂👀

Beautiful people are Normal people who watch their diet, keep their bodies clean, and don tasteful, yet inexpensive clothing. They maintain an empowered lifestyle, indulge in mind-expanding books and engage in varied activity that enriches their awareness.

Beauty, more importantly, is internal. The attractive assert their opinions and fight for convictions. Whether handsome or pretty, bland or plain, the internally beautiful betray an intelligence and burning diligence that reflects their personality. Recall that personality is molded by how we carry ourselves and associate with the world at large.

Finally, beauty is holistic. Magnetic people take effort to be the best that they can be. They understand that they are fusions of body, soul and spirit. Hence, they build up each facet by honing their talents and passions. They may have ordinary faces but lead extraordinary lives. These exceptional people are the best humanity can offer; they easily outshine the empty-headed Greek Models of the catwalk.

Augmenting beauty simply means caring of the body and the mind. It doesn’t take much effort, just a tad of self regulation. Here’s how to ooze magnetic attraction:

1. Books and periodicals are your best friend. Beef up what’s in your head and rack up more beauty points with your enlightened discussions. Intelligence is attractive.💪🏾

2. Watch stand-up comedy. You will develop your sense of humour. Wit is a rare and valued commodity.😂

3. Is that a burger you’re shovelling down your throat? Stop. You are literally what you eat. Want to be a lard bucket? Then chomp that burger.

4. Soap, shampoo and mouthwash are better than all the pheromone sprays, libido enhancers and failed nose lifts. Good hygiene is the honey that attracts the delightful bees.

5. Dress to impress- 24/7. You probably had one of those moments. There you were, in sloppy coveralls at the mall. Then you run into the boss or a beautiful stranger. Say this with me: “NEVER AGAIN.” One more time. “NEVER AGAIN.”

6. Ask and Listen. The most dazzling conversationalists avoid monopolizing conversations. Rather, they ask tons of questions…. And listen for hours on end. Stop and think about that. Isn’t your best friend a great listener?

7. Finally, think sexy. Feel sexy. You are what you think you are. Your body follows what the mind dictates. The $3000 executive coaches like to pass this astounding piece of common sense for a hefty fee. Save the money.

So, get out there and glow. You can be attractive without those creams, lotions and surgeons.

Be bold. Choose beauty. Be You.

How long have you waited to be happy at work? Or to write a book? Or bring home the income you deserve? Are you your own best support system or biggest diversion? Consider this, the cheetah has no problem using its gift of speed. The bald eagle easily uses its keen eye sight and ability to soar. Dolphins joyfully display their playfulness. Imagine what is possible for humans with our unique gift of the mind if we focus on what serves us vs. what holds us back.

Discover 4 steps to set your mind for success:

▪️Know what is limiting you~

Do you like mysteries? Here’s one that can change your life. Let’s investigate. What beliefs are at the core of who you are? Pay attention for one week to self-limiting beliefs that show up. As a detective, be consciously aware. Keep a journal handy to jot down notes. Beliefs can present themselves as a label you place upon yourself partnered with an assumption such as Single Parent- there is only so much I can do. They can reveal themselves in a negative statement such as “I can’t be ….”, “I can’t do…”, “ I’m not good enough”, I’m not smart enough…”. Beliefs may be uncovered in an assumption such as “there’s not enough time”, “that’s too hard”, or “he’ll say ‘no’”. Write down the beliefs that are restraining you from what you want.

▪️Get to the source of the diversion~

A good detective digs deeper. Whose voice is attached to the belief? How did this belief become attached to your life? Is it legitimate? Is it serving you? Or limiting you? Jot your notes. I have to warn you. We hesitate to go within because we subconsciously know what may be lurking at the source. That 4 letter word… fear! Write down the fears you discover that are holding you back.

▪️Rewrite your limiting beliefs and fears with an unlimited confident attitude~

Turn “I can’t” into “I am”, “that’s too hard” into “I know I can do this part”, “I don’t have enough time” into “I know what’s important and I do that first”, and “Single Parent- there’s only so much I can do” to “Single Parent- the world is my resource. It’s abundant and lacks nothing.” Let me know if you need help with this. Reread your new attitudes daily until it becomes part of who you are. A simple task that makes an impact.

▪️Stand strong and respond~

Do not give into self-limiting beliefs! When they show up mount up. When you hear “you will never be …” respond by saying “says who? I determine my value.” When you think “you are going to make a fool of yourself” , respond “and I will love myself for having the guts to try.” And when you believe there is no time left for your dreams, drop what’s not as important and stand up for who you are.
