Tuesday Tips….You Are Worthy💞

Happy Tuesday friends….

A lot of times individuals feel disgruntled because they don’t feel appreciated by other people. That’s understandable. Naturally we all long to be appreciated by others. But if our happiness hinges on the encouragement of others, we may occasionally find ourselves being needlessly discouraged.

The answer is to encourage yourself! Here are a few ways to do just that.

1️⃣Small pieces of bigger blessings.

While encouraging yourself, it’s great to kickoff with the long-familiar and obvious things like family, friends, your home, and so forth. But once you’ve named those things, try to be more particular.

For example, if you’re grateful for your family, individually list the members of your family and then compose a detailed listing of all of the ways you’re thankful for that particular family member. The same can be true for the other biggies. For example, if you’re thankful for your home (and you ought to be, even if it’s humble!), list the particulars about what you value about your home.🙂

Think through every facet of your home, and individually, list what you’re thankful for. They are things you take for granted, and yet would certainly miss if you didn’t have them! I’ve found it helpful to center on one small aspect of the various big things in my life daily and list utterly everything I can think that will encourage me.

2️⃣List of your gifts.

We frequently center on what we’re not good at, or ways we go wrong or wish were different. But we all have assorted gifts and abilities. Centering on those things can provide a good deal of encouragement. Nothing is too little to list! Or, as in the case above, begin with something big, and then list utterly everything you are able to dream up that comes under that certain category. Generallyspeaking, every talent that you have includes multiple “sub talents.” Be particular!

3️⃣Recall the past.

Occasionally when setbacks happen, like not being able to pay the rent on time, remind yourself of the fact that you’ve always managed to keep a roof over your head in the past, and that somehow things will work out this time also.

As well, when remembering the past, occasionally it’s great fun to think way back, even to childhood, about fun, interesting, and exciting experiences. Frequently this makes me laugh, and it also helps me to see how rich and terrific my life has been – and without doubt, will continue to be.

4️⃣Name your cares.

This might seem like an unusual way to be encouraged, and I’ll acknowledge that initially naming my cares sometimes causes me tension! But, naming my cares is often the first step in coping with the issues impending, and as I deal with them, I’m encouraged.

As well, as I name my cares – particularly if write in my journal about them – I frequently see that they are not as bad and scary as I thought. Frequently, when I journal about my cares or the things I’m baffled about, I find that I’m blowing things out of proportion and that the situation isn’t nearly as bad as I initially believed. That’s encouraging!

Remind yourself of encouragement from other people. Yes, this is about encouraging yourself, but occasionally you are able to do that by remembering past encouragement from other people. Maybe no one has done anything to encourage you this past week or even month, but we’ve all had moments of encouragement from other people in the past.

Have an awesome day and be encouraged friends….

Happy Monday…😃Smile

Happy Monday friends,

A simple smile can make such a difference. For instance, the other day I mishandled a dish and it fell down on the floor, breaking into bits, producing a big mess.

Now, I could have been furious with myself for being clumsy and thinking “here’s another reason why life is awful!” But I did the opposite. I began to smile and kind of make fun of myself for not being able to hold on to that plate correctly. As I cleaned up the mess, there was no bitterness or anger. As a matter of fact, I did it with a smile on my face…I executed it with peace. So if you find yourself in a similar quandary, just think of the bright side, and don’t be shy to poke fun at yourself. You’ll quickly realize that peace finds its direction much more easily to you when you smile.

So smile today for your peace, for your sanity, and peace of mind😄

Mindset Monday…changing your view!

#mindsetmonday

Change your view girl….🤷🏽‍♀️

Whenever something happens the way you did not intend it to you feel either disappointed or sad, the disappointment easily turns to anger or you feel defeated and helpless, however that is your personal choice.

When something does not work out or something does not happen it does not mean it will never happen, it may mean that you are not ready for it and that you still need to grow and mature as a person.

It is better to always look at things differently, when you miss the bus from work or school always consider what if that bus is going to be involved in an accident, if your friends forget to invite you out for the evening do not sit and feel miserable think of all the things you wanted to do that you never had time for. Delay is never denial and defeat is not failure, failure is not getting up to try again. (Just saying)

When things always happen our way it will make us selfish and self- centered, always consider that there is tomorrow and that you can always try again.

Always accept the things you cannot change that will help avoid disappointments, change the things you cannot accept by either working harder or turning to the alternative and always be careful in knowing the difference. Appreciate the little things in life before you crave for bigger and better that way you know life can be good before all the other big changes and always expect less or nothing to avoid disappointments.

Change the way you see things, every disappointment isn’t the end of you life and you are not a failure….💪🏾

Mindset Monday….

#mindsetmonday

The first step to improving your confidence is cutting out that internal voice in our mind that keeps telling you that it is not possible, block it out and start asking yourself of what the worst case scenario is, it is usually not that bad as the voice in your head. After experiencing something you feared doing for the first time you realize that it was not as frightening as you thought.

Moral support is a very important part of beefing up your confidence, always confide in someone that can help you feel better about yourself. Opening up about your fears and feelings will not only make you feel better but it will give you another view of how other people see you and hearing someone tell you that you can do something can give you that one extra nudge into doing something.

Sometimes attempting something alone may be over whelming so you may try to find a partner that may motivate you, a good example is jogging, when you feel lazy to go jogging your partner will call you and expect t see you at your jogging spot this will help you in getting started in whatever project you want to indulge in.

Always consider the fact that if it can be done by others you as a person can also do it, it only requires for you to take one single step to begin a journey and it only gets easier as you move along.

It’s all about your mindset, you can do whatever you set your mind to! Changing your mindset will boost your confidence and set you up for success…

#mindsetforsuccess

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” Marianne Williamson

How long have you waited to be happy at work? Or to write a book? Or bring home the income you deserve? Are you your own best support system or biggest diversion? Consider this, the cheetah has no problem using its gift of speed. The bald eagle easily uses its keen eye sight and ability to soar. Dolphins joyfully display their playfulness. Imagine what is possible for humans with our unique gift of the mind if we focus on what serves us vs. what holds us back.

Discover 4 steps to set your mind for success:

▪️Know what is limiting you~

Do you like mysteries? Here’s one that can change your life. Let’s investigate. What beliefs are at the core of who you are? Pay attention for one week to self-limiting beliefs that show up. As a detective, be consciously aware. Keep a journal handy to jot down notes. Beliefs can present themselves as a label you place upon yourself partnered with an assumption such as Single Parent- there is only so much I can do. They can reveal themselves in a negative statement such as “I can’t be ….”, “I can’t do…”, “ I’m not good enough”, I’m not smart enough…”. Beliefs may be uncovered in an assumption such as “there’s not enough time”, “that’s too hard”, or “he’ll say ‘no’”. Write down the beliefs that are restraining you from what you want.

▪️Get to the source of the diversion~

A good detective digs deeper. Whose voice is attached to the belief? How did this belief become attached to your life? Is it legitimate? Is it serving you? Or limiting you? Jot your notes. I have to warn you. We hesitate to go within because we subconsciously know what may be lurking at the source. That 4 letter word… fear! Write down the fears you discover that are holding you back.

▪️Rewrite your limiting beliefs and fears with an unlimited confident attitude~

Turn “I can’t” into “I am”, “that’s too hard” into “I know I can do this part”, “I don’t have enough time” into “I know what’s important and I do that first”, and “Single Parent- there’s only so much I can do” to “Single Parent- the world is my resource. It’s abundant and lacks nothing.” Let me know if you need help with this. Reread your new attitudes daily until it becomes part of who you are. A simple task that makes an impact.

▪️Stand strong and respond~

Do not give into self-limiting beliefs! When they show up mount up. When you hear “you will never be …” respond by saying “says who? I determine my value.” When you think “you are going to make a fool of yourself” , respond “and I will love myself for having the guts to try.” And when you believe there is no time left for your dreams, drop what’s not as important and stand up for who you are.

Are you willing to do what it takes to set your mind for success? Will you do the detective work to gain access to your unlimited potential? What I want for you is to break out of the bounds of limits and become your own best Success Coach… Starting Now!👏🏾
