Happy Sunday 🙂

Happy Sunday friends, hope everyone enjoyed the weekend!

I’ve been under the weather with a respiratory infection and it has taken all the life out of me!🥺😷

I’m feeling a bit better today as I get ready for worship this morning!

Our church has decided to commit to the Daniels Fast for the next 21 days and I have decided to join in!

There are so many reasons why I feel I need to get closer to God!

Have any of you fasted before?

Did you do it alone or with a church?

I have fasted for Lent but never like this before so wish me luck!☺️

In the meantime, as I was researching this fast I came across some of the benefits that may help me as well:

Mental & Emotional Benefits of Fasting

Fasting benefits are different from person to person, but the following have been known to occur: (8)

As I was researching my fast, I came across this 👆🏾thought you all would like to see the benefits of the fast!!!

Ash Wednesday 2018

Lent season is upon us, and usually around this time I find something to give up for my 40 days (actually 46). It’s usually alcohol, but this year I’m proud to say that I have already given that up. I have been holding study on my sobriety to, there were days I would get tempted. So far so good, and now I have to think of something else. It will come to me before the day is over, so as we prepare for lent take this time to reflect and pray. Reflect over life, and given up something shouldn’t be that hard as Jesus gave his life for us. Happy Fasting…..
