It’s World Mental Health Day 💚
As someone who suffers from Bipolar Disorder, I celebrate my mental health every day! World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year. This day tries to create awareness about mental health issues.
▪️Despite the progress we have made, there continues to be stigma related to mental health, especially in the African American community!!!
▪️As you go about your day, take time to educate yourself and speak with a loved one! We are fighting battles you wouldn’t understand!
▪️So I celebrate those of you who are suffering, and those of you who suffer in silence! I hope that my story inspires, educates, and helps someone get the services they need!!!
