3 Quick Steps To Practice Mindfulness

Step One: Journal ๐Ÿ“” Your Thoughts

Right down what you are thinking about first thing in the morning how you want your day to go, then again at night to reflect on the day! Donโ€™t let your past creep in, donโ€™t let what happen yesterday creep in…just stay focused on the present day! One day at a time sis…๐Ÿ’“


Yes Girl, ๐Ÿ˜ณI know….much like me I do all my business from that damn phone, but ask my friends and family…when I put my phone down I do! I donโ€™t answer calls, texts, or emails for about 2-3 hours. During this I nap or just sit and relax, this keeps you focused and calm! The world ๐ŸŒŽ will be fine without you for a couple of hours, your health is most important!

Step Three: LEARN TO MEDITATE๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

Meditation is the key to mindfulness. It allows us to learn how to be mindful. It is the key to the whole ideal. Without it, it is much more difficult to become mindful in any moment. Sit down, close your eyes, focus on your breath, and just be in the moment.

Mindfulness has been shown to improve overall health, improve our brain functionality, and will enable you to be a calmer, happier, more intentional person. Yes, I know itโ€™s hard to turn our wired brains ๐Ÿง  off but I promise just for about 10 minutes you will definitely notice a change.
