3 Ways To Thrive in The Morning with Depression๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ’ซIf you suffer from any type of Mental Illness, you know just getting out of bed is tough! I remember just dreading the mornings, thank God for my dog who has to go out๐Ÿ˜‚! Not all of you have a pup, so let me give you some tips on how to THRIVE in the mornings when you feel like crap๐Ÿ˜”

1. Always start your day with GRATITUDE: Even when things seem grim, just thank the Lord you were able to open your eyes ๐Ÿ‘€ This means He gave you another chance at life…so use it!!

2. Even if you work from home or have no where to go, always make time for hygiene and a balance breakfast ๐Ÿณ:

There were so many days I went without showering and eating, my body just couldnโ€™t move. I felt like whatโ€™s the use I have nothing to get clean for. Eating was always the last thing on my mind, ( you canโ€™t tell that now๐Ÿท๐Ÿ˜‚)I just couldnโ€™t bring myself to think that far. But NOW, I know that getting up, dressing up, and eating something healthy gives you more confidence to start the day even if itโ€™s hanging around the house. Itโ€™s about self-care and taking care of you๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ›

3. Find a Hobby: During my worse times I became creative, I planted, made jewelry, journal. I didnโ€™t know my thumb was so green ๐Ÿƒand my jewelry came out absolutely fabulous, even sold a couple of pieces. So dig down into you soul and find out what you are good at. Maybe itโ€™s talking to older people, helping someone less fortunate than you, or just singing or writing. Whatever it is, I promise it will give you a reason to get up in the morning and find reasons to THRIVE!!!
